Decently good boot, but damaged from storage

This is a good discontinued style for an intermediate freestyle skater wanting a traditional leather upper and leather sole boot. However, the closeout stock I received from the merchant (tennisracquets) was damaged where the tongue hits the eyelets. The leather tongue on both boots each had two cuts on the edges in them, where it hit the eyelets, from being stored. The tongue may break off prematurely.
